    A nice video with settings information about shooting with the Canon 7D in in a couple of lighting situations.

    Canon 7D Highlight\LowLight test in Moscow from kefirux on Vimeo.

    My first test with 7D.
    =======================
    Canon EF-S 17-55mm f/2.8 IS USM
    Canon EF 50mm f/1.4 USM
    Used “SuperFlat” style in camera.
    Used 1080p 25fps\720p 50fps modes
    ========================
    Editing:
    Adobe Premiere CS4.
    1) Сonvert from MOV to MPEG-2 30mb/s (Adobe Media Encoder), its look pretty good, but converting is very slow.
    2) For slow machines: Make proxy 960x540 bitrate 4mb/s in FFMpeg

    Testing out the Kodak Zi8. Just pressed record to see what I’d get. Added music so it wouldn’t be so boring

    I love this photo. The neon sign keeps in the style of yesterday that’s preserved in the loop area of Chicago

    I wish the beat went on

    I love seeing old photos of the beat generation. I’ve always wanted to be a fly on the wall listening to the discussions they had and listening to the point of views of a generation that thought they could change the western world as they knew it.

    Discussion at a restaurant

    I find myself looking and hoping to meet people who can discuss the times and the literature and art that reflects it and not feel threatened by it. I’m not saying that everyone back in the Beat Generation all agreed but they did agree not to agree. I’m not sure today if that is an accepted concept or if there is a modern day Beat community. I hope this year to meet people who want to meet and just talk of new ideas and changes that can make a difference through our writing and art.

    Jack Kerouac reading

    Maybe I shouldn’t want to reinvent what was already invented. But I would sure love to see poets in words alone, or with music, or with visuals (especially now with digital and digital video cameras) gather and discuss what it is we like and don’t like. And not based on a political party, but purely on face value. I’m looking for a modern day On the Road, a book and a writer.

    My January PhotoJoJo’s Photo Time Capsule
I remember this, it was the No Pants 2009 here in Chicago. I didn’t photograph it this year but I did follow my friend TreoBenny then so he could have something for his photo book.
Here’s the complete set No Pants 2009

Hi my name is Tiff but I am also known as TheFemGeek to many on the Internet. I'm a screenwriter/writer/filmmaker and I have a vlog where I talk about that part of my life. But I've also decided I wanted to have a personal blog and Tumblr seemed the best place to start.

I use this blog to talk about the things I like and see on the internet as well as out in the real world. You know, actually interacting with people. But most importantly I have begun to talk about my journey towards getting healthy and fit.

At times I will try to keep track of my weight loss and as a new runner I will talk about the miles I have achieved. Also I will talk about the transformation I am making to become the woman I use to be.

So I hope you enjoy what I have to say and show and hopefully it can help you along the journey you may be taking in your life.
